Katsina joins the league of infected states
A sixth death was recorded yesterday as the number of infected persons climbed from 232 to 254 with the addition of sixteen new cases.
The States where the virus has touched also climbed to 17, including the FCT, as the Coronvirus makes a land fall in Katsina, the President’s home state.
Of the 16 cases reported last night by the NCDC, Lagos continues to report the highest with 10 cases, followed by 2 cases each in Oyo and the FCT, while Delta and Katsina registered one case each.
The entire old Western flank of the country (including Edo and Delta) has now been touched by the Virus as it slowly inches up to Kwara in the North.
The good news, however, is that there are recoveries (44 as at yesterday) which is encouraging.
