Lagos also leads in deaths from the virus

Lagos State accounts for more than half (16) of  the 32 deaths from Covid-19 reported in Nigeria to date.

The deaths were recorded in 12 of the 25 States and the FCT where cases of the virus infection have been reported.

Apart from Lagos, other areas where the diseases has been identified and confirmed include the Federal Capital Territory (3), Borno (2), Edo (2) and one each for Rivers, Ekiti, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Oyo, Ogun, Katsina, and Kano.
