The five South East states last night officially hit and passed 1,000 cases of Covid-19 attack.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced 1,133 cases of the contagion in Abia (297), Ebonyi (285), Imo (278), Enugu (202), and Anambra (71).
Although Anambra has recorded the least number of cases, it accounts for almost half of all deaths from the disease.
