Senator Ike Ekweremadu withdraws a while ago from Enugu State governorship quest and calls for unity in PDP.

He said in a statement that he has met with Mr Peter Mbah and received assurances that his ideas will be incorporated into the PDP campaign.

He was also assured that his campaign organisation will be accomodated within Mr Mbah’s team, the Senator said in a statement.

“I, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, hereby formally withdraw from the 2023 gubernatorial contest in Enugu State.

“I congratulate Barr. Peter Mba and wish him success,” he said in the statement which he personally signed.
