The Labour Party shows numerical strength among the incoming members of Enugu State House of Assembly following a resolution and a rerun.
Enugu Metro checks show that INEC resolved the two disputed seats in Igbo-Eze South and Udenu State Constituencies in favour of Labour.
The run-off elections in Oji River also reportedly favoured the Labour Party candidate.

Incidentally, the PDP candidates in Igbo-Eze South and Udenu were kitchen cabinet members of the Ugwuanyi Administration.
They are also incumbent Local Government Chairmen of Igbo-Eze South and Udenu LGAs respectively.
The duo, Vitus Okechi (Igbo-Eze South) and Solomon Onah (Udeni) served as commissioners in the administration before they contested and won election as local government chairmen.
Okechi served in three Ministries, namely, Transport, Youth and Sports, and Housing. Onah was Land & Urban Planning Commissioner, as well as helmsman at the Commerce & Industry Ministry.
Together with Gov Ugwuanyi himself and ex-Gov Chimaroke Nnamani, these were regarded as the most significant losses for the administration.
The losses may also signal the end of the Ugwuanyi era in Enugu State politics.
Labour 14 – 10 PDP
