The new State Civil Service Commission Board has five members and will be led by Mr. Robinson Odo.

The members sworn in are as follows:
State Civil Service Commission Board
Mr. Robinson O. Odo, mni, (Chairman)
Mrs. Stella Akpa Ekweremadu
Dr. Eucharia Offor
Mr. Nathaniel Chidiebere Anike
Mrs. Joy Chinenye Odike
Mrs. Ekweremadu is spouse of Matthias, erstwhile Commissioner for Transport who passed away on 4 February this year.
LG Service Commission Board
Prof. Osy Okanya, Chairman
Hon. Rodrick Ugwu,
Mr. Nnaji Peter Nnaji
Mrs. Florence Ifeyinwa Igboji
Hon. Eugene Odo
The Boards are responsible for appointment and discipline of staff of the State Civil Service and LG Service respectively.
Gov. Ugwuanyi urged them to use “merit, skill and character” as yardstick for staff recruitment.
He equally requested the Local Government Board to “recreate a disciplined, robust, dedicated, well-equipped and well-motivated workforce.”
This is because the Local Government system has recently witnessed a “high level of staff absenteeism and attrition,” he said.
The board members pledged to put their best foot forward in carrying out their tasks.
