Here’s an updated list of Enugu State commissioners appointed from 2019 when Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi began second term as Governor.
However, we’ll constantly update and upload the list as reticent spokespersons disclose a full list of Ugwuanyi’s appointees. Or as new members join the Cabinet.
The first set of Commissioners took an oath of office on 25 September 2019.
Subsequently, two persons – Messrs Solomon Onah and Chief Chidi Ezema – left the cabinet.
Onah won election to the Chairmanship of Udenu Local Government Area Council in the 2019 Council Elections in Enugu State.
On the other hand, Chief Chidi Ezema formally retired as Head of Service of Enugu State also in 2019.
Unfortunately, a member of cabinet passed on. Transport Commissioner, Chief Mathias Ekweremadu, a former ranking State legislator, slumped and died on active duty.
No replacement from Aninri has been made to date. The Governor however did appoint the late Commissioner’s wife to a board position much later.
