IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu appears in court today, escorted by a long convoy of security vehicles from many agencies.
Mazi Kanu appeared trim and healthy and was not fazed by the show of strength by the nation’s security as he came to Court today (See Convoy Video)
He is arraigned at the Federal High Court Abuja on a seven-count charge, including treasonable felony and terrorism.
He pleaded not guilty after the amended charges were read to him.
The judge ruled against his lawyers plea that he be transferred to a regular prison.
He was subsequently returned to DSS custody, accompanied by the fleet of security trucks.
This was after the case was adjourned to 10 November for hearing.
