Rangers International Football Club of Enugu on Sunday 29 December 2019 in Mauritania secured an away point by playing a goalless draw with FC Nouadhibou in Matchday 3.

The draw shines a glimmer of hope for the Coal City Club which has been struggling of late in national and international competitions.
The Club sits uncomfortably on the third position with three more games in hand in the group stage of the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup.
Match statistics show that Rangers dominated the game including recording six corner kicks with the host having none, indicating the sort of pressure mounted by the Nigerian side.
Match kick off was 8.00pm local time at the Stade Cheikha Ould Boïdiya.

This will be the return leg of the match with the same Club, FC Nouadhibou of Mauritania.
Rangers will before then return to the Nigerian Professional Football League, where the team will be hosting FC Ifeanyi Uba on January 8 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu by 4pm.
