Lagos prosecutes 23 cops for rights violations

The Lagos State Government has charged 21 policement to court for human rights violations ranging from excessive use of force to outright murder.

The offences include grievious bodily harm (1) manslaughter (6), attempted murder (2) and murder (8). Two others are being charged for armed robbery.
