Anambra Governor Chukwuma Soludo remembers and honours a 90-year old ex-teacher who taught him in high school at Uga.

According to the Governor, the nonegerenian Chief TN Ezenwaka taught him in Class Five at Uga Boys Secondary School.

The Governor was not alone at Ezenwaka’s yesterday birthday celebration at the St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Uga in Aguata LGA.

Equally present was Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia, Peter Ebere Cardinal Okpaleke, another achieving student who passed through Ezenwaka at the School.

The celebrant cuts the cake, with Cardinal Okpaleke presiding.

Uga in Aguata LGA, is 40 kilometers south of the capital Awka.

Governor Soludo later took to Facebook to eulogize the teacher in these words:

“My class five Government teacher at Uga Boys Secondary School, Chief T.N. Ezenwaka, celebrated his 90th birthday today. I joined other eminent personalities who passed his tutelage at a holy mass and grand celebration put together in his honour.

“T.N, as we fondly called him, was an excellent and impactful teacher. He has trained lots of people, including myself and Cardinal Okpaleke.

“His former students are making waves all over the world. This is the reward of the noble teaching profession. Of course you know Teachers are the greatest!

“We celebrate him at a ripe age of 90, wishing him many more years in health,” the Governor said.

In addition to his former students, other students from various schools in Uga also conveyed their appreciation to the retired teacher.
