Cyril U. Orji has an earned PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Chicago, Illinois, USA. He was an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Florida International University, Miami, Florida, USA. He later went on to industry and worked as a research scientist until he retired in 2020. Cyril is married to Adanma (nee Ada Ohiaeri), a registered nurse. The couple lives in New Jersey and has four adult children and three grandchildren. Cyril is an attentive observer. He enjoys talking politics and writing short stories based on everyday observations. He is the author of “Lamentation: An Immigrant’s Dilemma,” a fictional chronicle of the experiences of an immigrant bringing up a family in diaspora.
