The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) ends current voter registration drive for the 2023 elections by 30 June 2022.

INEC announced that last quarter continuous voter registration which resumed on the 11 April ends 30 June, 2022.

However, it’s not clear whether the electoral umpire will be able to organise another registration round before the election.

INEC published February 2023 dates for the general elections that will usher in a new president and majority of governors.

Registration centres are located at INEC State and Local Government Area Offices as well as RA/Ward Collation Centres.

INEC officers do rotational visits to the Wards to ensure that eligible voters are captured to vote.

“This may be the very last chance to register to vote before 2023 elections,” an official said.
