There are 14 test centres for travelers coming into the Southeast and those traveling out of Nigeria from the region to do their mandatory Covid-19 PCR tests. The laboratories are approved by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control as well as the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19.
According to the latest guidelines, two tests are required for incoming international passengers. Only a test is required for fully vaccinated passengers, after two days of arrival (arrival + 1 day). Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated require two tests, two days and seven days after arrival.
Fully vaccinated travelers are those who completed (2) doses of any one of Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. It also includes a single dose of Johnson and Johnson vaccine. Passengers must vaccinate at least two (2) weeks before departure date. A partially vaccinated traveler is anyone that completed only one dose of any of Astra Zeneca, Pfizer and Moderna vaccines.
