A Federal High Court in Abuja nullifies Hon Chijioke Edeoga’s nomination as Labour Party governorship candidate for Enugu State.

Justice Evelyn Maha who presided over the matter in Court, ordered cancellation of the primary election, calling it a “hoax.”

The judge ordered the party to conduct fresh primaries within two weeks.

The ruling follows an application by Capt Evarest Nnaji who approached the court to say that he was illegally schemed out of the Labour Party primaries.
