The suspected Enugu Covid-19 case arrested by the Enugu Task Force on Covid-19 tests negative, officials confirm this morning
The result of the Covid-19 test for the patient who was rushed into isolation in Enugu has returned negative, indicating that she does not have the virus, eMetro News has just learnt.
The Enugu state Ministry of Health announced the result this evening through the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Ifeanyi Agujiobu.
He said the result has also been corroborated by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) as negative.
“We hereby enjoin the general public to go about their normal business however to remain alert and vigilant observing basic personal health hygiene,” Dr. Agujiobu said.
