A fresh window of recruitments for N-Power jobs opened a week ago for Nigerian youths looking for temporary succour.

The portal formally opened on 26 June and will remain for a period yet to be specified by the federal agency managing the programme.

About 400,000 applicants are expected to be captured in this round of recruitments, officials say.

N-Power is a job creation and youth empowerment initiative promoted by President Muhammadu Buhari’s Government Social Investment Programme launched in 2016.

Although N-Power caters for all youth regardless of their educational attainments, those wishing to teach or work in the health sector are required to have graduate training

Applicants who wish to work in the health sector are to present degree and diploma certifications in the areas of medicine, microbiology, nursing, public health, botany, midwifery, psychology or other allied disciplines in the sciences.

How to apply

QUALIFICATION: Any Nigerian who is between 18 and 35 years of age and unemployed is qualified to apply for N-Power jobs, regardless of educational qualification. Some jobs, especially those in health and technology sectors, however, require applicants to have a diploma or degree in relevant fields

DOCUMENTS NEEDED: Those wishing to apply are expected to have the following documents ready before they log on to the website to begin the application process:
• Printout of Bank Verification Number
• Recent passport photograph
• valid email address or working phone number for contact, and
• Diploma/Degree and NYSC certificate, for those applying for N-Teach and N-Health
