Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State today 11 August assigned portfolios to the new Commissioners approved by the State House of Assembly.

Initially, the Governor submitted a list of 15 Commissioners to the State House of Assembly.

The list contained nominees from 12 of the 17 local government areas, which generated a little disaffection from stakeholders in the disfavoured local governments.

He subsequently forwarded another list of five nominees on 9 August, which was speedily approved by the House.

They new list included Dr. Matin Chinweike, Obi Ozor, Sunday Emeka Ajogwu, Felix Nnamani, and Patrick Uburu
