Governor Alex Otti nominates 19 citizens of Abia as commissioners; sends names to State House of Assembly for approval.
Baring unforeseen developments, the 19 nominees will sail through the screening that commenced today in the House.
The list of nominees went to the House of Assembly on Friday 30 June, exactly one month since he took office.
This is arguably a record for the set of governors who took office on 29 May 2023.
He briefly met with the nominees at Government House before they went to the House for screening.
The nominees include:
