Although he had a difficult first year, he fully adjujsted in the 2022-22023 campaign, winning the league championship with the Club.

In all, he played 28 matches and scored 15 goals for the Club last season.

Additionally, he crowned his football exploits by leading his country Argentina to the World Cup which he coveted for a long time.

His Club efforts however fell short of Mbappe’s, the highest priced player of the Club. Mbappe scored 23 goals from 29 matches and had more assists than the Argentinian.
